It started with one frustrated student
Ann Elise is named after AnnElise — a Rutgers Organic Chemistry student, and our founder’s goddaughter. Grinding through Orgo, she couldn’t find a single tool that actually helped: everything made chemistry mistakes, couldn’t even display molecules correctly, and just handed her answers without ever teaching the why. She was frustrated — so she and her godfather set out to build the tutor that should have existed.
She was the inspiration — it wouldn’t exist without her. We built it because we wanted to see her succeed. Now we want the same for you.
